(The Falcon on the Laurel Tree)
Tami Alkon Lorberboim Born in Rehovot 1967
An experienced and exhibiting artist. Graduate of the Fine Art
department of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem.
A versatile artist - painting in oil and mixed techniques, engraving and
print, collage and composition.
Throughout the years her art has taken various forms, due to her
strong drive to express herself in color and her constant courageous
search for new styles and forms of expression.
In her art one can feel the tension between various interpretations of
reality: from the physical world to the world of dream, to the fields of
abstract color and space as means of concealment and exposure,
multiple realities, etc.
"Life, Dream, Reality and Death are all the same"
She promoted and arranged, in cooperation with the Modiin-Reut
Maccabim Municipality, the "Open House" project of local art.
She also dabbles in poetry and prose and plans to issue her first written works in the near future.
